Amaya was launched in October 2004. It won two prestigious restaurant awards in the UK in the same year - The Tio Pepe ITV Award for the Best Restaurant of the Year as well as the Best New Restaurant of the Year. In 2006, it became one of the very few Indian restaurants to be awarded a Star in any Michelin Red Guide.
